Didn't have anything close to the drama/emotion based match of Dustin/Cody, but otherwise was for sure a better show than DON, doing the story based spot fests better (Cole/Johnny), regular spot fests better (ladder match), athletic sprint better (Strong/Riddle), and certainly a much better women's match. Somewhat ironically, this looked less like a WWE production than Double or Nothing did
Definitely less hype going into this (in that there was NO hype at all) and as a result ended up over delivering.

She's been booked so dominant at this point I expect either 1. Her to get called up and relinquishing the title or 2. Lose it in a fluke match to a third stringer with little to no build. I assume HHH wants to keep her and the other two in NXT until Ronda comes back so they can do the Horsewomen angle without giving Vince a chance to ruin it for a year before it even starts and can't think of any other way to keep Shayna busy than just keep the title on her forever. She's now gone through the entire women's roster multiple times so idk what is left for her to do in her current role. Lmao at Candice finally getting to be something more than Johnny's wife and...she's just Io's replacement friend
It was nice to see Tyler Breeze have that spark again. He looked so sad and
during the Worlds Collide thing. I know they have so many guys backed up at the PC and already on the TV NXT roster that aren't doing shit, but it might not be a bad idea to have NXT alumni that aren't getting used at all on the main roster pop in and put over current talent from time to time.
I'm kind of worried for Johnny Wrassles. It's clearly time for him to get called up, as he's done everything he can in NXT (literally), his storyline has come full circle multiple times now and they've repeated his championship angle of losing in the first big defense with all 3 belts. But you know when he gets called up he's going to languish hard on whatever show he's on and end up like Sami Zayn where he went from can't miss best babyface in the biz type to face you're sick of to heel you're sick of, and if Ciampa ever returns you know they'll be paired together forever like Sami and Kevin.
