Jaffe is a perfect example why people choose to ignore creepy/obsessive behavior rather than confront it. He's not even involved with this case yet he's crusading about it and telling him "harassing people isn't cool" only winds him up more. Yet saying "harassing people isn't cool" would have magically made IndieStatik guy back off and apologize.

In real life rejecting the romantic advances of people obsessing like that rarely goes well. I have little doubt that telling IndieStatik guy to stop would have hurt him and that would have manifested either through continued harassment, negative press coverage, or worse. The guy has already admitted to abusing alcohol and having serious personal issues... but sure lets reject him. He won't take that poorly at all

If you want to see how little many GAFers know about frame rates, look no further. Seriously, every NFL game on TV as well as all other live sports since like the 1950s and even earlier have been broadcast as 60 frames per second. Yeah it's interlaced, but it's still effectively 60 FPS since the image is updated every time the lines alternate. We have been watching live television events at 60 FPS as long as there have been live TV events. It's great that the NFL app on the XBOne will match that frame rate and it's been done already too, just look at the free video clips on the 360's UFC app.

The world doesn't need people playing devil's advocate for everything bruh. There is no way to have a valid conversation when one party seriously thinks "Well she shouldn't have let him sexually harass her so much, then it wouldn't be such a big deal" is some realistic shit. Nobody should have to debate the finer points of not blaming victims for how they react to being victimized. It's stupid and asinine and deserves to be treated as stupid and asinine.

If people aren't contributing with topics germane to the conversation and are actively holding it back with their spergtastic inability to read any form of subtext, discern context, or suss out human emotion, absolutely keep that shit moving with a ban. More of that would keep GAF from having ten threads a day that are basically "Why do human beings do the things that human beings do?".
