I like Saga. Looking forward to the next issue.

The Walking Dead is just depressing after a while. Don't judge it after the first issue, it gets better. But as mentioned, really depressing. Also #1 and #20? Wuh?

Not familiar with anything else from that bundle.

They all are kind of good in my opinion.

The first trade of East of West is pretty much non-stop action and plot. It's only later that it stops and does it's world building. You got this futuristic yet fantasy wild west world mixed with this apocalyptic story where Death of the 4 Horsemen is on a warpath of revenge. 

The first trade of Fatale is also the best. Film noir meets Cthulhu basically. The framing plot is'nt solved here, but the main story arch is in case you care.

Morning Glories is ok. I really don't have much to say.

If you spend a bit more you'll get Saga which is great and Revival. I don't know what to say about Revival. I don't think it's that great. I think it's going for a Fargo thing mixed with this less apocalypse, more detective mystery/noir take on "what if the dead came back". The dead have come back in this small town and well they just have to deal with it while finding out why. Plus the main character has a personal mystery to solve all while being a normal human single mother. It did'nt grab me, but people like it.

I guess it depends on how you categorize Haitians, but I've always considered them black the same way I consider Polynesians asian.  He sure as hell ain't a white guy, in any case.

About 60% are straight up black and most of the rest are essentially mixed. Reggie wouldn't be considered "black" in Haiti but he clearly is of African and European descent; whereas in the US black/white mixed people were always considered black, at least until conservatives wanted to call Obama half white. Interestingly most black Haitians don't consider themselves "black" in the American sense, but that's another topic.

To me these kinds of cynical opinions always reek of intellectual laziness and the attempt to present themselves as knowing without actually putting up the effort to gain knowledge necessary for a more nuanced opinion/world view.
