You should definitely put a lot of thought into crazy hypothetical situations like whether or not you're going to get attacked by a woman.

Hypothetical, but likely in my line of work. I work at a county jail and there have been times when both male and female officers have been attacked by female inmates. I've seen the damage that can happen (I'd rather get punched than scratched). With some females (and males), we have to have at least two officers present just to open the door. I know a female that can be completely nice one moment and then 250lbs of rage the next. For the most part, we treat males and females the same when it comes to physical confrontations.

Of course, in the free world, the likelihood of getting attacked by a woman is close to zero

I like how the nouns change with the context. Inmates: males and females. Regular people: men and women.

Not judging, I'm sure it's a thing of the trade, which is what I want to point and go "huh" at.

I noticed it while I was writing it. I think it's mostly a detachment kind of thing; keeps things on an even keel and not bring the stresses of my work home with me.

90% of trade shows is people taking pictures with each other and going to strip clubs on advertising budgets.  they're for networking.  The guy who runs GAF has as much a place there as any of the socially deformed game journalists who "cover" the event (aka collect swag bags and take sweaty pics with booth babes) for major sites.  Besides, GAF really is a nexus of enthusiasts, for better or worse.  To exclude its owner will be taken as a perceived slight by a lot of people on the site, it's just bad PR.

How many 15 years old do you know have access to the space needed to throw a birthday party that big. Gotta be 20-30 kids there. (20-30 isn't big for college though)

I'm pretty sure no responsible parents would let their kids party like this. So either these kids aren't 15. (Which is my original assumption) or they really are 15, and most likely the parents who hosted this "birthday party" are shitty parents.

I know I won't let my kids drink, smoke cigar, and crap like this under my supervision.

As for the servers dying under load, that been happening a whole lot lately? We handled Beast Souls without a hitch. Teams of consultants couldn't do squat to optimize us any further, nor is it a hardware issue (increasing hardware resources significantly multiple times did nothing), but I have a friend who pretty much built the back end of Facebook and he went in and found some hidden issues and cleaned up our code base with custom solutions, so we should be in really good shape now, 2-4x efficiency and without the process bottlenecks that would cause the site to crash. I've been prepping us for E3 2014 for months after what happened last time around.

Evilore did report on his E3 experience last year, I specifically remember he was interested in the Witcher and talked about it on the site, and possibly when he was on Giant Bomb. It makes sense for us as posters not to qualify, but Evilore is a person who has access to thousands of people who are extremely interested in what he, personally, has to say. Giving him a pass to E3 is much different than some random poster. He might not run his own regular news site but he certainly reports on his experiences/thoughts about things in a global forum.
