Experiential intelligence, I guess.  We all have our experiences in our areas of study and know that people outside of it should STFU about it.  Social science language and discussion about racism, oppression, and society-in-general is more advanced than some gut feelings snuck in under the cover of the word "privilege" or a bar graph you found online about stratification.   I understand that society is made up of people and that people have a right to talk about society. 

But just like how the ability to drive a car doesn't grant knowledge of how the whole car works, the fact that you exist in society doesn't grant you any special knowledge of how it works.   On that note, people who assume they know how the car works giving other people incomplete/incorrect advice about how cars work would be pretty destructive and stupid, eh?   You would know to not do that...so that's what I mean about knowing when to know that you don't know.

After they got rid of the original cast it was hard to stay into power rangers. Like, they got rid of Zack? WHY? Adam SUCKED. I think I stopped watching Power Rangers when they had the small kid become a blue ranger. I thought that was SO STUPID. I didn't know what jumping the shark was, but I think I internalized that moment as a jump the shark moment. So terrible.

What else do you call someone who's busy talking out of their ass or denying the experiences of others because they haven't dealt with that? After a while trying to convince them of anything is pointless and you know it. What happens after acknowledging your privileged is realizing that there is a whole gamut of life experiences that others have to deal with that you don't and some sympathy might be in order instead of a constant belligerence about how race and gender don't matter because you're color/sex blind. If someone calls me privileged I'd say yeah probably, US middle class, mostly white, cis, straight, able bodied, thin. There's really no reason to think I'm not. It's easy to recognize how fucking good you have it in respect to others if you actually get the fuck out in the world, but this is the internet and some nerds really want that bottom rung of the totem pole so they can justify their social ineptitude with some kind of persecution complex.
