This is a thread for Japanbore, fans, friends, and foes of Japan.
I've been wanting to call out some seriously weird, annoying, or cool things about Japan, as I'm hopefully in my last year of residence here after having lived here a total of 13 years. No doubt I will be pulled back in again, at some point.
So, whether it's the excellent service, unmatched food presentation, social awkwardness, societal values trapped 30 years in the past, the sexy ladies of Yokohama Station, or that asshole smoking next to the no-smoking sign, bring the noise.
