This is probably the same demo the giantbomb guys saw and talked about on the recent podcast.  Their impressions of it were mostly reassuring and I get that feeling from the video; just seeing the PP pop up everywhere makes it more appealing.  And the seamless open world is awesome.  Main gripe is still the overall drab presentation.

You’ll get calls from a character that are only on the SmartGlass device. So if you don’t have SmartGlass, you won’t get those calls from that guy. Which also means you won’t get those missions.

Stupid as usual. Great, so classic gaming where my actions via controller aren't the only things that affect the game now? So if the postman knocks on my door, my possible hunt for a certain Achievement could be ruined. Pure gimmick.

They were originally OGL devices when OpenGL was still a going concern. Since the branching of the GL trunk code, and the snarky, retaliatory, semi-proprietarization of the version running on closed devices such as iPads and Surface tablets, that was originally called "SmartassGL," but someone thought it looked better as "SmartGLass."
