I just watched the E3 bit again, that was some slick wording, haha. If they were making it a point to highlight Halo 3 and Asscreed 2 "in the next few months" then those are the biggest titles yer gettin' out of this deal

There will probably be a couple decent games for free, but M$ had to name DEM BIG FRANCHISES as they have the marketing and PR savvy of a wet paper bag (but with less charisma)

Those will always be free, and it's all useless fluff considering the huge filesizes most of the DLC is.

He was nice enough to send me a personal message addressing my complaints back before the 360 launch, when I was bitching about it not having a mandatory hard drive. Seems like a good dude who has to grit his teeth a lot and repeat the company line.

I spoke with him at GDC a couple years ago; he is a nice guy, and he is a gamer who believed in his company's product during the 360 era. I imagine the horse shit with the XBone was not only difficult to shill for, but also a personal disappointment as a gamer.

Yeah, I agree, and as a "community" worker, Larry has to remove himself from taking this stuff personally. It's not a job I would be good at.

But Larry's within a year or two of me, and I definitely carried a torch for Jeannie, even though it was already in re-runs. Yvonne Craig in a Batgirl costume will also get my inner-adolescent going.
