The English subtitles on this tell you all you need to know. Putin is sitting on 32 trillion kubic meters of natural gas.
With the US no longer being energy independent they're cutting LNG exports.
The price went up 800%, congratulations Joe, you balanced the Russian budget.

I'm starting to think Greta is a Russian psy-op.
Who knew ammending your energy policies to the will of a 16 (now 18) year old would absolutely destroy your position in the energy markets.

If Greta starts to come out agains the Nuclear energy plans of France and 8 or 9 other EU countries that signed on, she's 100% a Russian plant.

Industry insiders with an ear into the negotiations told POLITICO the two sides were still working through tariff rates for different cuts of meat, as well as other political differences. The aim is to get the deal into force during summer 2022.
They have until summer 2022 so this is all just for show.

LONDON — He may have traveled more than 10,000 miles from Canberra to London, but Dan Tehan left Britain without a trade deal.

The Australian trade minister had hoped to clinch an agreement with his U.K. counterpart Anne-Marie Trevelyan at the end of his long, multi-stop trip across the globe, but the two sides ended up kicking the can.
First paragraph makes out he traveled 10,000 miles for nothing.

Second paragraph points out it was a long multi-stop trip across the globe.

I suppose this is better than their initial response, which was "if you're arrested by a police officer but have doubts / worries, then confront them or run". Cause that would go well :lol

In other news:

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2021/oct/20/sunak-cut-corporation-tax-surcharge-banks-keep-city-competitive

So the cunt recently slashed universal credit and raised the national insurance tax, only to give banks a tax break a couple weeks later. Brilliant.

I almost exclusively get my news from the public broadcaster. We are fortunate that it has managed to maintain excellent quality and objectivity, even if it does tend to lean a little left.

We even have seperate elections for these regional water authorities.

Only after 28 million or more have died at the hands of the evil west. But this is more complicated than most people think.
China has pushed Russia out of Central Asia, so they're using this as an opportunity to regain a seat at the table.

In the end I think the EU and Russia have no choice but to set their differences aside and work together.
Which has already started during the pandemic and with the SDP winning the elections in Germany that is probably where things are headed.

A lot of what the US wants(regime change in Iran, pulling Ukraine into NATO) is not in the best interest of either Russia or Europe.
A little known fact is that the EU has already officially put a freeze on further expansion and the German government has basically greenlit the opening of Nordstream 2.

All the Russians now have to do is wait for Germany to invite them to clear the air and lift the sanctions.

So a tory MP was recently found to have clearly breached rules (not the first one to do so) when it comes to corruption.

Quote
Ex-minister Owen Paterson could be suspended from the Commons for 30 days after an MPs' watchdog found he had "repeatedly" used his position as an MP to benefit two companies who paid him as a consultant.

The watchdog described his actions as "an egregious case of paid advocacy".

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-59049343

A 30 days suspension is kind of a joke, but it gets better. Here's what happened.

The co-ordinated action against the REvil gang was announced on Monday by Romanian police, the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and Europol.

The raids, which took place both on and offline, led to the arrests of two alleged hackers in Romania and one from Ukraine.

Europol's operation, named GoldDust, was set up specifically to tackle the group. Since February the operation has led to 7 arrests of the hacker gang in total in Romania, Ukraine, South Korea and Kuwait

MPs who are not available to help constituents and represent them in Parliament are "not doing the job", Downing Street has said.

It comes after Conservative MP Sir Geoffrey Cox was found to have been working remotely from the Caribbean.

The former attorney general has earned over £700,000 doing legal work in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) on top of his MPs' salary.

Boris Johnson's spokesman said MPs should be "visible" to constituents.

[...]

The BBC has established that Sir Geoffrey was in the BVI in April and June this year on at least two separate trips, to work on a corruption investigation into the government of the Overseas Territory, which was launched by the UK Foreign Office in January.
