Got together with my NZlander cousin for a day out on the turps. Craft Beer Live event in Osaka was... well, it was really only OK. The beers were crisp and tasty, but the lack of lingering bitterness or any other aftertaste was disappointingly Japanese. So we went to my new favorite bar and followed up with some major, lovely craft beers, fish and chips, salad... and then capped off the whole day with wagyu barbecue at his place over a bottle of Coppola vineyard's Sante, which was faboooooloso.
