I rewatched Hook after Robin Williams' death and really didn't like most of it. It has a lot going for it, especially a beautiful soundtrack, but it's kind of an ugly film. The design of Never Land looks so uninspired to me, and they don't even really explore the setting. You see an ugly Lost Boys camp, an ugly pirate ship...and that's about it.
I think the movie rebounds a bit towards the end but it's still not a "good" movie.
