Man, I usually get the opposite vibe. It's usually the Ninthings that cry the ludest about how good their latest underselling game is (creating a gazillion threads in the process), where the Sony stans actively look for singular threads to turn into a hugbox for seclusion.
Remember when Smash 3DS came out and there were three to four different threads where you could post about the same game?
why is gaf so desperate to tell us that the order is such an awesome game?
You can replace "the order" with "every tentpole first part game". Every time a new game that stans perceive as a major release (even if it's not_, a dedicated few will make sure to flood GAF with threads about every little detail related to a game. See:
135 threads with Hyrule Warriors in the title ("Dynasty Warriors", which would cover eight games + a gazillion expansions, only has 27 more threads to its name.) To this day I don't understand the point of making 21 different character trailer threads when you could just make one thread for all of them.
