What I'm getting at is: You need to get your French GED and then go to school/French University ASAP. Speaking as someone in a similar predicament with an actual HS diploma.

I know, and I am completely aware not having it is absolutely unacceptable. Several people I know IRL took a chuckle at the fact I was one of those 10% who didn't even manage to get their Scientific Baccalaureate, just like how l'Cies are despised by the Cocoon's populace. I had plans on passing it again this year, but I was still on medication at the time of the registration so that I wasn't strong enough mentally-speaking to go ahead and register as ludicrous as it sounds. By the time I was completely off the drugs' effects, registration was closed. There is no doubt I would have had got it this year. In 2013, I scored a rather decent mark in History & Geography, but that wasn't enough to make up my terrible marks in Scientific subjects. If I re-passed it this year, there is no doubt I would've had scored an excellent mark in Spanish, haha. 2016 is the year I'll finally get it! :D

So this is something that has always struck me as something that should be accomplished but nigh impossible. The fact of the matter is that white people make up 70% of the US's population. Whether they know it or not (most likely do not), they benefit in all sorts of way from virtue of the fact of simply being white in America.

Now, let's say the concept of white privilege reaches the mainstream and somehow becomes widely accepted? Then what? How do you convince a group of people to willingly work towards, in this cutthroat capitalist society that becomes more and more competitive by the year, diminishing an advantage, a package of untold benefits, simply in the name of fairness? This is a problem I think about often but I've yet to come up with a solution to it. You know, beyond waiting for society to reach the point where automatization takes all of our jobs away from us.

To be fair, you're a sucker for asking GAF for any kind of meaningful life advice.  A solid majority of GAF today consists of eternally depressed shut-ins who get angry that an exclusive game on their console of choice is now going to be multiplatform.  I can't imagine what useful advice they have, so it's not surprising that they have to resort to social justice bullshit because they can't comprehend being invited to a party let alone being at a party where they talk to a girl.
