Actually, people who met him in meetups and friends he stayed with on his euro trip (namely Jarosh and Cloudwalking) reported he's "pretty cool" in person. Picks up tabs. Grabs asses. All the good stuff.

I don't think this has more to do with the accuracy of our character assements as much as how people carry themselves and act online vs. Real life. For example, despite how many times I say it here, I don't *really* want to take a dump on squiddy's chest.

Then again perhaps these unfiltered, unmoderated versions of people are truly reflective of their inner selves. So maybe I *do* wanna take a runny one oh his hairy chest.

Maybe I'd feel the same way if I made it to the meet up this year.  I try not to judge people based on online interactions, but sometimes that's all you have to go off of.

Well, I meant up to at least 5-6 years ago.  She's generally courteous if you're both on the same page, but her behaviour isn't something I've paid as much attention to.

Her absence in non-FF official threads was noticeable for someone with a reputation of being knowledgeable of the genre, so it was odd to see in practice.  I haven't looked at gaf in-depth in months, so I couldn't tell you if her posting frequency has gone up or down even if she has been playing something recently. Edit: fwiw, I don't dislike her, but I don't have much experience with her so I can't commit to an impression of her otherwise.
