This whole thing with Anita is disgusting, tbh. So she makes some stupid, cherry-picked videos? You know who else does that? Literally every YouTuber in existence. The backlash against her is really weird to me. I watched one of the videos, disagreed with a lot of it, agreed with a lot of it, then just sort of moved on with my life. I just don't see any angle that isn't because she's a chick that has gotten people into such a tizzy.
And the whole Quinn thing was weird to me too. Okay, so she cheated on her boyfriend a ton. Great. That makes her a bad girlfriend. The people that should've received the entire brunt of the backlash were the supposed journalists who involved themselves with a potential conflict of interest.
And the lazy defense of "oh, but they hadn't really covered her game" is bullshit. Unless she retired from the industry, the conflict of interest still exists - as the rampant censoring of the story showed. The incestuous relationship between supposed "journalists" and the industry should have been on trial, with the five dudes who compromised their integrity for the sake of sex bearing the brunt. But no, Quinn reminded foreveralones of their shit existence so it became about her instead.
tl;dr: Dweebs need to learn to calm down.
