The entire argument over "what if PS+ and Gold get less games because of other services!?" is fucking dumb. If other services beat those services when it comes to games offered, Sony and Microsoft then need to up the ante or simply keep taking people's money so they can play peer to peer multiplayer (lol).
A ton of games aren't worth physically owning. Call of Duty games are overpriced as fuck, Black Ops2 is still around 30 bucks for a new copy. I've never felt the need to replay an Assassins Creed game. Every other medium has moved onto digital distribution via catalogs and subscriptions, its time for disposable games to be treated correctly when it comes to value.
I'm sure there were a couple of movie buffs that were sad when they wanted to buy Goodburger on DVD/bluray but they stopped printing it and moved it into the digital space.
