I'm curious about Android and would buy (read: "allow someone to lend me") an Android device, but I already have more games than I can play on iOS and Android peeps are always complaining that no-one makes stuff for them.
I can tell you what I hate about iOS though, and some Paranoid Android-head can tell me if it exists on their platform:
Very limited local file storage from web:
- find a pic you like? tap-and-hold to save the file to your camera roll.
- find a PDF you wanted? tap-and-hold to open it in iBooks, saving it locally -- it's stored on your Mac if you back up locally, but otherwise it's only resident on the device
- find an MP3 you like? GOOD LUCK SAVING IT ON YOUR PHONE.
- same with MP4 or any other kind of media which could be feasibly connected to MPAA or RIAA interests.
Somewhat stupid Options locations; half of them are in the apps, WHERE THEY BELONG, the rest are in iOS' Options which further separates them by category, so they're not in a single list, AND then has separate headers again for Privacy and Notifications, which then have sub-lists for the apps again. WHAT A MESS.
Huh.
I guess I've only got the two gripes. That's surprising.
