Someone brought this up and was talking about how Sony must be a pretty shady company in order to have so much stuff go wrong just by exposing their emails. Dude doesn't get that any company that had their emails exposed like this would not fare much better.
There's a chance I would be unemployable for the rest of my life if people saw how dickish I've been in some work emails. And I'm one of the nicer people you could hope to interact with in a work environment. Nothing I've read has been what I would consider out of the ordinary. Worst of it was the casual sexism/racism that exists universally in America, but if that rustles jimmies people should read office fantasy football chains. That Trebek email is exactly what he should have sent imo. Direct, honest, and assertive. I hate pussyfooting coworkers who hem and haw at everything.
And none of the information we've gotten has been surprising. Is any office filled with employees 100% on board with their company? Did anyone expect Sony Pictures dudes to be thrilled with Adam Sandler movies?
idk, outside of learning that Channing Tatum is literally a golden retriever puppy in the body of an adult man and some insider gossip, everything seems par for the course.
