I like Ubisoft. They may (sort of) have an open-world model that they apply to all of their franchises, but in my opinion it works pretty damned well! I know these Assassin's Creed games aren't very exciting from a gameplay perspective, but I've played through all of them minus two and I haven't regretted a moment.
Sure, in an ideal world, I want games to be different and innovative, but I live in a world where people are going to make templates and models and do shit like Ubisoft and Marvel Studios does. Living in this world, I'm glad it's Ubi's template that's become the "generic" open-world model. We could've done a fuck of a lot worse.
Thinking about it, I can work with the vegan thing. Could even be an opportunity for me. There would be jokes though, and I still reserve the right to eat human meat if the opportunity ever organically presents itself.
