Most of the Trans arguments against him are weak and politicized nonsense. To tie both together, I'd point out the most important and startling point he makes in his testimony to the Ontario council on Bill C-16. It comes at the very end where a councilmember asks about the view that Gender is fluid and social. Peterson restates the science on how that isn't so, so the Councilmember asks does it actually matter for the good of the trans individual if its social or biological? To this, Peterson responds that if you argue its social and fluid and you put that argument into codified rule, then you've just given the greatest argument for bringing back conversion therapy. If being Trans is dangerous to the individual, which statistically it is, and as well so is homosexuality, and if these things were social and fluid, then the good and moral thing to do would be conversion therapy to change them.

Thus the danger of the prevailing form of post-modernism and its slithering into Trans politics.

For one, you (and by extension, he) show a gross misunderstanding of what people mean by gender fluidity. When people talk of agender and being gender fluid, that is a completely different meaning from when people say,"gender is fluid." Being fluid has little to do with being a trans woman or man or cis because these are people who can live in either state. Comparing someone who identifies with being gender fluid/agender to a trans woman/man or gay/bi person is nonsensical. It's like comparing someone who is asexual to someone who is straight. When people say gender is fluid they generally mean that there are multiple possibilities. Science - which you say Peterson says denies this - corroborates this with hard data. There are many societies already such as Native American (two spirit) and Samoan (Fa'afafine) that prove this. Agender/being gender fluid is something totally different from what we are describing. I cannot go back or else I would kill myself. Even with being trans and hardship it's much better than being a dude. Using gender fluidity to argue for conversion therapy is a vast misinterpretation of the terms under the example you gave. There's so little we know about agender people that the conclusion is premature and dangerous. It's not even a full consideration of all the facts.

I am already familiar with the term. For the sake of discussion let's use agender. I hate the term gender fluid. I honestly don't get the agender stuff and I legitimately think that they should have their own separate thing than trans people (given they are agender and we aren't), but I haven't seen a single study suggest the data you're suggesting. Sociologically, there's more than male or female. When you say there's only male or female do you biologically or sociologically? Because I have already made the case for sociological gender variety. Two spirit, third gender;etc have existed as long as there's been humans. Biologically, intersex is a thing. So when you speak biologically do you really mean sex and not gender? So I'm not really sure what you're arguing nor how you could possibly use science to argue it since there's no data on agender either for or against.

The Bill codifies preferred gender pronoun usage. Peterson's objection to that is that it constitutes compelled speech, that you would have to use words decided by other people in your speech and that such words can be changed an infinite amount of times and arbitrarily. (The multiplicaton of invented gender pronouns like zir and zhi.) He is against compelled speech, which is speech, or more accurately here, word usage demanded by one upon another. He then points out that due to the existence of humans rights tribunals, violations of this can result in fines and refusal to pay the fines (which he states he will refuse) will end up leading to jail time.

Let's take polyamorous. I have a friend like that. It doesn't just mean bi. It means a more open relationship. My friend has multiple relationships and they all know, and they all fuck each other, and they're all fine with it. That's polyamory, which is a clear difference than just being bi. So when you say "I'm polyamorous" you're basically telling someone that you enjoy a mutually open relationship and everyone who wants to join in should join in on the fun. It's also different from polygamy because there's no real guarantee that you will marry any of these people. Hence, polyamory.

I saw a post on GAF that said that wanting to get culturally relevant casting for Aladdin was SUBCONSCIOUSLY racist because they were holding Arab (ish) actors to white actor standards, and that's why they were having such a problem casting people.
