I started playing Spla2n in split joycon mode kinda like wiimote/nunchuck style. Since the right joycon is the one with the gyroscope. It's a little better and easier. Problem is, the motion controls don't work the way other shooters on Wii works where the camera would spin when you reach the side of the screen. This presents a weird thing where you're twisting your arm more and more trying to get it to swing around. The only way I think the get around this is to use the camera reset function more often.

I'll try out the split control tonight. I'm a huge fan of motion with the Pro Controller though, it feels great. Currently have stick sensitivity set to -1 and motion -2 and I feel like it controls perfectly w/ both Pro Controller and in handheld.

Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 are coming to Switch. The physical version will only include Rev 1 on the cart with Rev 2 being download only. $20 each. Because we needed these ported for the umpteenth time.

And it looks like someone has finally made good use of the Switch joycons and HD rumble.

I never finished Rev 1 on Weeeooo and I always thought it was odd Rev 2 skipped BOTH Weeeoo and 3DS, so this is actually cool news. I'll double dip on Rev 1 so I can play Rev 2 on the same system, sure. $20 each is a fine price.

Looks like Capcom really is in "OH SHIT SWITCH IS BIG WHAT CAN WE DO PORT PORT PORT!!!" mode.

Animal Crossing and Pikmin are the 2 Nintendo franchises I can't muster up the slightest enthusiasm for. The retro NES games in the first AC was cool back in the day, before things like VC or the NES Classic or high quality emulators.

Nah you get Gold Mario for getting at least first in every 200cc cup, no need to triple star 'em. So I already have him.

Gold Kart is unlocked by getting at least one star in every 150cc mirror cup*, Gold Tires are for beating all the staff ghosts, and Gold Glider is at 5000 coins total.

Working my way through staff ghosts now, and I should hit 5000 coins through normal progress at time point.

*Was wrong about how to get the Gold Kart, but either way I got it already lol.
