It's a bit of both. Nintendo is gonna launch this thing bare-bones with maybe 4-5 titles (I'll give it a max of 10) and then have nothing coming out during that launch window, and then shit out Mario/Zelda/et. al. IP's from them and then drought again. Especially with third parties dying right outside that launch window.

The cel-shaded world looks great. Walljumping in the city looks really, really fun. The promise of a truly open world Mario is very intriguing and has loads of potential. Keeping an open mind (though yes, it does look a lot like the daytime Sonic Unleashed levels.)
