I mean.. what you could throw together vs. what you'd be able to launch at the scale they hope to expect are 2 very different things.

Part of Vine's early appeal was its "little guy" status, and it's growth was organic and earned.
Not sure the same kind of community, or any kind of community, can form when you're basically being told "CARE ABOUT THIS AGAIN PLEASE." You're also setting yourself up for early failure if you're building for millions of users at launch instead of something more conservative.
