That was fast.

That was always a cinch.

Early results look good in the other NY races so far, hoping Engel and Diaz get shut out.

As expected, the final outcomes in New York will depend on absentee ballots. Tens of thousands of ballots are still pouring in, and it might take weeks to count them. Now … we wait.

We don’t have a final answer as to whether the Democrats’ progressive wing was able to rack up wins tonight, but that group is projecting a lot of optimism and strength.

”We’re here today to declare that we will never cave to the left wing and the left-wing intolerance,” the president said at a Students for Trump event in Phoenix.

Quote
” They hate our history, they hate our values, and they hate everything we prize as Americans,” the president said. “Our country didn’t grow great with them. It grew great with you and your thought process and your ideology. The left-wing mob is trying to demolish our heritage, so they can replace it with a new oppressive regime that they alone control."

Very presidential. This must have been the unity speech.

Most important race I watched today was McGrath. She so far has garnered 27k votes to McConnell's 80k. Even when combined total with her opponent McGrath doesn't hit the numbers Turtle does. We need that man to lose.

On a good note, two republican trump opponents won in Kentucky.

Wouldn't set my heart on McConnell getting knocked out whether it's McGrath or Booker.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-campaign-names-hogan-gidley-as-new-press-secretary/

Quote
The Trump campaign has named Hogan Gidley as its new press secretary, replacing Kayleigh McEnany, who became the White House press secretary in April. Gidley is currently the principal deputy press secretary at the White House.

"Hogan Gidley has been at the President's side for three years and now he joins the fight to re-elect him," campaign manager Brad Parscale said in a statement. "He is a talented advocate and defender of the President and his policies and is never afraid to go into battle with hostile reporters and television hosts. Hogan is a great addition to the team and makes us even stronger."

It would have to be a historic gop collapse for McConnell to lose. Dude isn’t even that popular in Kentucky but he knows how to bring the pork and people like seeing him at the top continually sticking it to the dems, which he is really, really good at, even more so than Trump.

Not sure if this was the smartest move by the Democrats but it seems like they're siding with Trump in the desire to watch the cities burn down.
They fail at the headline game though, they should've called it the "Floyd Act" which would've meant no Democrat could've voted against it.

Quote
In a surprising upset, a 24-year-old political newcomer on Tuesday defeated President Trump's pick in a Republican primary runoff for a western North Carolina congressional seat vacated by Trump's chief of staff.

Madison Cawthorn, a real estate investor, easily beat out Lynda Bennett, a real estate agent who had a clear fundraising advantage, with about 66% of the vote.

Loading...

Trump's chief of staff, Mark Meadows, announced he wouldn't seek reelection right before the filing deadline, and Bennett quickly announced her intent to run — a move that angered many Republicans in the 11th Congressional District.

Bennett, 62, lost the runoff despite a string of high-profile GOP endorsements, including from Trump, who recorded a robocall for her; Meadows; Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas; and Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio.

Cawthorn used those endorsements against her, labeling her as the establishment choice who would be beholden to special interests.

He also criticized Bennett for refusing to debate him, saying in an ad, "I'll debate anytime, anywhere. I won't cow behind big-name endorsements."

Quote
Cawthorn campaigned as "pro-Trump, pro-life and pro-Second Amendment" and emphasized his family's deep roots in the state, which he said goes back to the Revolutionary War.

"I'm a millennial. I represent an emerging generation of Americans who are tomorrow's leaders, most of whom think that Republicans don't care about the disenfranchised, the hurting and those less fortunate. But nothing could be farther from the truth," Cawthorn said in a campaign video.

Cawthorn was nominated by Meadows in 2014 to attend the U.S. Naval Academy but suffered major injuries in a car accident later that year, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down.

Cawthorn will be 25 by November's general election — the minimum age for a U.S. representative.

In an interview with the Washington Examiner, Cawthorn shrugged off suggestions from opponents that he's too young to handle working in the halls of Washington.

"If they want to push me or do whatever they can, I promise I will fight back because I have been through far worse than they could ever imagine," he said. "The people of western North Carolina are the only people I care about. I really think that my accident has given me the resolve to represent them."

He also told the Examiner his accident gave him insight into the health care system, which he has placed as a top priority.

"I had over $3 million in medical debt as an 18-year-old," he said. "I would like to be the face of the Republican Party when it comes to health care."

Bennett took first place in the March 3 primary but didn't win by a large enough margin to avoid a runoff. Cawthorn placed second in the primary, beating out a former Meadows staffer and a state senator.

Joshua 4 Congress couldn't even apply for the Democratic primary.  :doge

God these YouTube ads are worrying. First I see a Trump ad with all of Biden’s “sleepier” moments and it just makes him look so mentally compromised. Then halfway through the video I was watching I see a Biden ad and he can’t even make it through a rehearsed 15 second teleprompter script without fucking up a couple times. He literally slurs and his way through the script and there is one point where he obviously misspeaks and says “from” instead of “to”... in his own scripted ad for the Presidency. I mean, anything is better than Trump but idk if Biden has it in him to win. Dude is obviously slipping and not in a “lol did you see that tweet” way or a “did you see him drink water with two hands” way but in a “We have been shooting takes of this 15 second ad for two hours and he still can’t get it right, we will just have to use what we got” kind of way. It was as if Biden’s ad further legitimized Trumps ad. Idk, I’m just worried. Tell me I am blowing things out of proportion please.

I had the same reaction as you watching those ads. But Trump is such a disaster, I'd rather have a Weekend at Bernie's president then whatever a second term of Trump looks like.

Ohio and the midwest are pathetic. Biden and Trump are neck and neck in Ohio. How dumb do you have to be to have Trump and Biden be neck and neck at this point? I guess you have to be an Ohioan. What the fuck is wrong with the midwest? Seems considerably more daft than I thought.
