Warren appeals to millenials in what universe?

Also, she realizes that now that she has a fact checking site more people will make up conspiracies and outrageous claims just to get on that fact checking website yes?

What even is a party loyalist? Like, white suburban liberal? Also lol at Booker with millennial appeal. I don't believe that at all.

Booker is even less entertaining than Elizabeth Warren.

So due to the scaffolding, you would be able to cut tiny holes big enough to crawl through but the rest of the steel slat above it would be intact. Makes it difficult to find the holes and patch them.

Update on IRS returns:

Quote
The IRS had planned to recall additional employees on Monday and classify them as essential, meaning they would be required to work for no pay and then given back pay once the government reopens. But the agency canceled the order on Saturday, saying it would wait until the U.S. Treasury Department approves a shutdown contingency plan for the 2019 tax season.

“President Trump said, ‘Tax returns will still be processed,’ but the largest site in the country is here in Fresno,” Sisk said. “And no one in that building is working on tax returns right now.”

The Fresno facility processes the returns of most Californians – millions in all, Sisk said. Other processing centers throughout the country held similar rallies on Thursday.

Fun fact: Google Maps is censored. It refuses to label the IRS building as being the IRS building

Holy fuck. Having worked extensively both in consumer goods and retail clients. I cannot begin to imagine the impact of no tax returns late Q1/early Q2.
Furniture/Mattress and electronic dealers are going to be ROYALLY fucked. It would in essence take away one of only two peak seasons they have. Most of them use tax return sales to finance the year until Q4.

But it gets Republicans off the hook with Fox News and allows Trump to not feel like he took an L by backing down.

All it costs is a little bit more of our democracy as the base will scream for the blood of the courts and Trump will then start appealing to those sentiments as well.

Warren appeals to millenials in what universe?

What the Democrats completely missed because Bernie managed to persuade a few commies is that most young people are more conservative, individualistic and right wing than their parents.
The Democrats think that old people dying will make them bigger than the GOP but it will be the opposite.

Quote
Two surveys estimate that 12 percent of Sanders voters voted for Trump. A third survey suggests it was 6 percent.

Quote
It’s a perennial question whether supporters of losing primary candidates will vote for their party’s nominee in the general election. So let’s compare the Democratic primary with the Republican primary. In the VOTER Survey, only 3 percent of those supporting Texas Sen. Ted Cruz reported voting for Hillary Clinton, as did 10 percent of Florida Sen. Marco Rubio’s supporters and 32 percent of Ohio Gov. John Kasich’s supporters. So Sanders supporters were about as likely to vote for Trump as Rubio’s supporters were to vote for Clinton, and far less likely than Kasich supporters were to vote for Clinton.

Another useful comparison is to 2008, when the question was whether Clinton supporters would vote for Barack Obama or John McCain (R-Ariz.) Based on data from the 2008 Cooperative Campaign Analysis Project, a YouGov survey that also interviewed respondents multiple times during the campaign, 24 percent of people who supported Clinton in the primary as of March 2008 then reported voting for McCain in the general election.

An analysis of a different 2008 survey by the political scientists Michael Henderson, Sunshine Hillygus and Trevor Thompson produced a similar estimate: 25 percent. (Unsurprisingly, Clinton voters who supported McCain were more likely to have negative views of African Americans, relative to those who supported Obama.)

Thus, the 6 percent or 12 percent of Sanders supporters who may have supported Trump does not look especially large in comparison with these other examples.

The day after Trump won the election I called my mom and she said "You know, even though Hillary lost, I feel good that Bernie's still in the Senate and he'll be around to keep on the fight against Trump."

That's when it really sunk in to me how detached online bullshit is from how most people understand politics. I still post every day though cause ha ha fuck it.

The day after the election was the first time I remember seeing retrospectives pop up about how gamergate, campus speech controversies, and debates over gendered pronouns were at all relevant and/or decisive in getting the couple of hundreds of thousands of votes necessary for a handful of states in the Midwest to swing red
