Unless you are Trump and relying on meme power there are Super PACS to set up, Sheldon Adelsons of this world to suck off until they are in your corner etc. So is there actually a good strategy behind announcing your candidacy last? While you can argue polling at this stage is worthless, it can impact donations you'd imagine.
