I have been following Switch launch since it was announced. And I was really confused about the final unveiling as there were lots of new info / different approaches to what we are used to. I was looking for a Nintendo Home Console....so I hope they will release, at some time, the console to play on the Tv without the extra cost of the tablet. But then I started to fall in love with the concept.

Now after seeing the lasts ARMS videos I think Nintendo could be pointing towards e-sports (they already have Splatoon).

Don't you think that because all the input methods (touchscreen, IR, movement, pads) and its screen portability it could become the best machine to play RTS, FPS, sports and whatever?

This isn't out of the realm of possibility, NES/Famicom only sold 62 million worldwide. I say 'only' because it seems like the NES was so prolific and ubiquitous in pop culture back in the day, even more than systems that sold better (PS2, Xbox 360, hell even the PS3 and PSP which were considered 'failures' outsold it!).
