Playoff game length is definitely worse than regular season games because of the extended bullpens. Limiting pitching changes and mound visits would help.

Also there's a Red Sox/Yankees level of commercial breaks.

I have Cubs fatigue as much as the next guy, and also genuinely believe that the Dodgers are the best equipped team remaining capable of preventing the full scale disaster that would be another Yankees WS title now that the Astros have essentially shat the bed.

HOWEVER.

Having said all of that, it would almost be worth it to watch Puddles melt down if the Cubs somehow came back from a 3-0 deficit to win the NLCS. You trick ass bitch, posting Yankees praising troll bait. GTFO with that basic shit.

Well you get to root for Verlander at least.

My Tigers-rooting cousin was on the D-Backs bandwagon because of JD.

I was hoping for an Astros dbacks world series. Once Arizona was out I was hoping the dodgers would make it.

Big fan of Kershaw, but Verlander has been incredible and I'd like to see him get a ring.
Stings seeing him play elsewhere but Detroit would be a waste for him.
Maybe they'll be competitive again before I turn 40.
