Is there an easy way to see if you've been mentioned or responded to? Closest I've found poking around is searching for your username, and that hasn't turned up results immediately, it's taken about a day for mentions to appear in search results.

Nah, just click the little "new" besides the thread titles and get scrolling. Software's lacking a bunch of little quality of life features, but as Wrath said, it's usually a non-issue because the community is so small.
