The biggest crime out of all this is that the Fox Engine is locked in Konami's dungeon. If they actually licensed it like Kojima was originally planning to do, I could see some games using it and having decent PC ports because of it.

Great thread from Gaming side: Should they remove the School from PUGB? It's in pretty bad taste..

I love PUBG,

But I must say I never liked the fact that there is a fully modeled american style high school in the game, complete with a gym, a common speech hall, classrooms, a basketball field and so on. The game is set in a way that you will always find some of the best weapons, ammo , items and armors, next to the military base. I'm not sure if its some weird meta social commentary that the creators wanted to make, almost..

With all those american school shootings, it just .. kinda feels wrong. You walk around, picking up abandoned backpacks, M16A assault rifles, and track down the other survivors who are hiding in the classrooms and you gun them down. Every game, that zone always has the highest body count.

It also does not help that the game has specific items that allows players to wear school uniforms, for males and females

I was playing with a friend yesterday and within moments of landing, we both commented that it just felt.. Wrong. It's pretty ironic to complain about this in a violent battle royale game, but eh.

BlueHole should replace the School with a factory or something really neutral. It could be easily avoided with a quick editing job.

It's actually pretty fun with a dedicated group. Haven't fucked with matchmaking so I can't comment.

No, normal or hard. Put the digger on Speed-up, spam the sledgehammer, win. All you need is four players doing that and putting self-firing turrets and maybe the stun traps down if need be.

2-players may struggle on Normal (just got a B on the mine because no materials to continue to hammer down enemies), but the game design is supposed to be based on 4, so...

Question: How did you become a Reset mod?

Answer: Well, I was a well know shitposter at the old place. My 29 ppd gave me a high profile and everyone came to know my username and avatar.  I also had a gimmick of *insert movie, comic, actress or game infatuation here*. The admins completely fucked up with their report function strategy, the userbase abuse the shit out of it and now the admins have hundreds of reports to dig through everyday. With that kind of volume, they needed tons of help. Luckily for Cerium there are plenty of old forum personalities eager to LARP as Besada and dedicate all of their online time to casting out the bad people and keeping the community pure. Thanks to that and my spending 16 hours per day on the board anyway, the admins thought I would be a good janitor moderator to perform the arduous and repetitive task of clearing out as many reports as I can keep discussions civil and on-topic.

I'm suddenly super popular and posters bend over backwards to agree with me now for some reason.

It basically split into 3 groups

1. The Shower Elf NeoReich cheerleader squad better known as the personal diary of Tyler Malka

2. REEEE with conversation 'steering', official political positions on everything (how to discuss this game, how you should feel about person X or issue Y). Basically purging everyone until there is nothing but a left-wing human centipede left.
Even posters and mods I considered 'sane' in the past have completely gone off the deep end to toe the line of their new ideology.

3. This place of Diamond Dogs left-overs

I have yet to see what the fuss is about. In any other case, these people sure don't hesitate to dig out all their screenshots of fatal Twitter comments, but apparently they can't get anything on that supposed nazi? Other than the picture on which he wears some edgelord t-shirt (which is cringey, but still makes him look like someone more fun to hang out with than any of the core distinguished mentally-challenged fellows). But it's always fun to see how people jump on the demonization train simply because the  ree-hivemind told them that he's a nazi, no further evidence needed.

All these dumb kneejerk reactions about singleplayer games being dead last year on RE, just because some Bethesda junk bombed (while the rest of the industry was flourishing and several IPs broke records). Then it was pretty cringey when Bethesda tried to make themselves look like the saviours at some event during the end of the year.
