I thought TLJ was fun to watch, but it's overarching theme of "fuck star wars" didn't sit well with me. I do actually like the way Luke died though. It makes him go out as an actual legend at least. If the idea was the break apart Star Wars so it could grow into something else, they should have waited for the next movie to do that.
