Whenever I see a long string of posts consisting of "I've never liked X anyway!" or "Glad people are finally coming around to what I've known all along  ", it comes off as a weird defense mechanism to ward off from being devoured by their own. He did basically call Sargon of Akkad (the youtube guy, not the historical figure) up his own ass without having actually researched things while strongly suggesting he was lying about the flight he was missing and bringing up constantly to deflect since Joe said he'd pay for a different one if he wanted to stay. Was that an instance of Joe Rogan holding someone accountable?

Rogan is somewhat questionable, but he does challenge his guests way more than Dave Rubin, for example, who Rogan embarrassed himself when he had him on. He pushed back on Candy Owens nonsense too with climate change. Then he'll invite Leah Remini and Louis Theroux and do a full segment delving deep into the horrors of Scientology. Another time the father of the main Scientology guy asked to be on the show and the entire show Joe kind of gave him the sideye because he suspected that he's an opportunist.He also pushed back on Neil deGrasse Tyson on the moon landing.  I can't stomach watching his show more than a few clips/interviews here and there, but he's a contrasting mix contradictory views.

He's part dumb meathead, part ancient aliens shroom tripping hippy/conspiracy nut.  Ultimately he just tries to make his show entertaining and profitable I and goes where the money/views are. And if the money and views are with people like daddy p and Alex Jones he's unscrupulous enough to keep inviting them.

i think rogan's ability to debate a guest is correlated to the amount of weed he's smoked, but i still don't know if it's a positive or negative correlation.
