This is nothing new for this crowd.  You had GAF (then NeoGAF), then Opa-Age, then Opa-Ages, then the Bore, then other versions of OA, Rock-Banned, Wasting Your Life, SLAENT, and other splinter boards I'm forgetting about.  Before they started up RE, there were a few "replacement" GAF boards and one or two of them stuck around after RE started.  I can't remember the names and if they're still around at this point.  And then there's all the Discord groups and people who stayed at Waypoint, too.
