I do admit the curious, way too deep...researcher...in me is utterly fascinated by incelsiorlef and like her whole story. Just from the LOUD snippets we have compared with total silence on other things. Like the whole wrestling thing where it's seemingly her only hobby outside of forum baiting*, especially after finding out about the wardrobe rumor from that degenerate Stro. And the suggestions that's she's quite rich or has a benefactor.

I'm not sure there's another GAF/ERA person that has drawn my interest this way. Especially since this persona/username is only seemingly used there. Like Lime was an obvious thing and the only question was which part, if any of it was true. With arguably the funny part being that it couldn't transition the gimmick over to ERA because the userbase was too far into its corner and primed already.

*Although she did sorta add a fun new wrinkle recently with her jeremiad against Zatt Murdock for betraying the meaning of a Marvel avatar.

She's also posted that she doesn't work or at least wasn't working. I think the implication is less that she's rich or has a benefactor and more that she lives with her parents or is on some form of disability (which if you were to read the wrestling thread, the entire main core of the thread are all on disability, including one due to authority induced anxiety). Did you ever feel like you've lost the ability to connect with people? I pretty much don't have any friends and outside of work + family at home, I don't really socialize with anyone anymore. I tried joining some clubs at school but some of them weren't really for me or just didn't offer the chance to really met new people and develop friendships.

In my experience it's really hard to find fulfilling friendships with people other than family.

Having some serious anxiety just to come here and ask a dumb question lol.

So, how should I deal with trying to talk to or interact with people online and possibly make friends? I'm playing Destiny 2 and I've reached a point where in order to progress I need to play with people. Every time I join the queue for a guided game and it pops I cancel because anxiety hits really hard and I get upset with myself. I try not to overthink it but I just can't help it.

It's not just online either, I have a hard time going to places because of interaction. I don't remember when was the last time I even made a friend in general. Probably High School, which was around 12 years ago... damn.

If anything the lack of a desire to make this an officially progressive space creates a sort of echoing of its own, wherein nothing but the bare 101 level discourses (and sometimes really it's more like high school level discourse), the minuscule mircoest examinations of the status quo ever get performed. and to boot the end result is often frequently that the status quo gets aggressively defended and it's foundation remains uncracked... which is insufferably boring.
