As some of you have already noticed, we have a significant cosmetic update for you today: The homepage has been renovated to make the Hangouts sections more visible, with their own unique custom icons/graphics! Their relationship with the "main" forum sections is maintained through color coordination and a shared naming scheme. Descriptions have been added or tweaked on desktop for clarity. On mobile, we have drastically reduced the vertical space required by each node for a much cleaner look. The side navigation and Quick Jump have also been adjusted accordingly and should now be much easier to understand at a glance and for new users.

I would’ve preferred keeping the links in the Quick Jump menu shorter. At a glance Etcetera Forum and Etcetera Hangouts look the same so it’s taking me an extra second or two to identify that Forum is the one I want.

Yeah, I don’t love the sidebar change on mobile. Messes with my muscle memory and even with a quick glance I keep ending up in the wrong place.

Just want to chip in my thoughts that I think the old names were better. Having two boards in the Quick Jump or navigation sidebar start with the same word in a row feels unnecessarily confusing to the brain at a quick glance.

I really wish all the categories didn't say "forum" or "threads" now, just seems kinda redundant, and it really makes them all blend together on the side bar now when before I could just click at a glance.

I think it's exactly the opposite -- hip hop is so much bigger and more popular than rock that it takes up most of the spotlight. People aren't as aware of the stuff with those rock musicians because they don't listen to that music, they've never heard them say the shit. They listen to rap though. Those are just the lyrics they hear.

I think people are missing that this is mostly a coalition issue for the same reason Northam needs to step down while McConnell can be Mr. Smiles in front of a Confederate flag. Genetic advantages imply the hormone they received before transition. In the IOC case it is counting no matter whatever the person went though the wrong puberty or not. Should be noted that in the future most trans woman will not go, reducing even more the arguments of bigots.
In a normal transition for a trans woman, the hormones are completely changed to the regular levels of cis woman. It is not uncommon for testosterone levesl to end lower than regular for cis women since the idea is to kill it's production.

Seems like the best way to do this is get rid of gender based sports and instead base it on their weight and other measurable attributes.

If you hit the certain criteria of physical attributes (muscle mass, bone desnsity, weight, etc) you go into the heavy or light leagues. Abolish the WNBA and make it the light, take the regular NBA and make it the heavy. Hell, just split the NBA and WNBA for example into a light and heavy for each if need be.
