I really don't understand the passion behind making everyone vote.  This probably doesn't apply to Reset readers but statistically 50% of the people you convince to go vote are going to vote the opposite of you, and if it's someone in your district or state you just literally cancelled out any effect your own vote would've had.

Obviously when they get all appalled about people not voting, it's on the basis that anyone who took the time to get educated and care about the process would see the light and vote for the same people they do.
