- He managed to get his sequel finally made through a successful Kickstarter and additional funding from Sony and publisher Deep Silver (funding announced Aug 2017)
- Through a series of incredibly silly events, THQ Nordic acquired Koch Media, parent company of Deep Silver in Feb 2018
- THQ Nordic has over 1000 employees, however at least one of them is a PR/social media manager
- This person decided to hold an impromptu, casual event where anyone can ask questions and the company can answer them, for fun
- This event was decided to take place at a board called 8chan
- 8chan has a lot of terrible users, but they tend to toe the line with what sort of content is allowed by US law
- However at one point in 2015, some really heinous shit was being posted and not taken down quickly enough, which got them temporarily blacklisted by Google until it was gone
- Therefore users discussing the game are directly supporting pedophilia and will be banned

Which is so counterproductive to their cause. The point of punishment is to encourage a change of behavior. The change is motivated by the prospect of stopping the punishment. If you refuse to stop the punishment, you're undermining any power you had to effect change. Why would anyone apologize to these people?
