Tbh I’m not expecting a Shenmue IV. Shenmue is niche, the games are flawed, the HD releases didn’t do well and didn’t help grow that niche. They banned him because either they or their little stasi informants who generate hundreds of reports want him got because he made them look like assholes over the smollett bannings, and this is obviously the first opportunity they've had.

I don’t think they even bother with reports anymore, PoliEra discord has a channel that was solely for bitching about various posts and posters.  They would just ping Bdubs with complaints and ask him to ban people.  Whether or not he was the one to ban them I can’t say but most of the time they were banned.  You probably won’t be shocked to learn that the people who begged for bans most often were; Kirblar, Cheebo, and Pigeon.  Even that channel recognized that Kirblar’s requests were particularly insane as he would request bans for anyone who didn’t agree with him.

I finally realized how toxic that place is after I dared to disagree with the approved message in the Bernie town hall thread.  If you aren’t in complete agreement you are the enemy, a trump supporter and probably a nazi.  If you dare to question anything you’re “Just asking questions” which has become the way they shame anyone still trying to think critically.  They employ a lot of authoritarian tactics for people who are so against fascism.

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this... I follow a lot of really good anime artists but some of them do draw nsfw content that can fall under cp or are borderline close to it, and if we go by US laws which can be pretty broad (ex. in my state, you can be labeled as a child predator if you have intercourse with a 17 y/o and you're not within 4 years of age with said person), and if they enforce it like reddit does (even if they look 18+, if they're canonically not, it's still liable), I'm gonna have to say goodbye to a lot of people.

When I still lurked in the Discord, I remember Pigeon frequently talking about how PD needed to be banned. But like all the time, like that one Roman senator who would end every speech by saying they needed to destroy Carthage.

When they would get into the weeds on policy it was ok but that’s like 5% of poliera at best.  The other 95% is trash.  I’m embarrassed to admit I once saw the allure of being as rabid as they are.  I will do penance by visiting my local Yum!
