I think the real issue here is that Sony shouldn't have sent their marquee title to Conan just so he can poke fun at it.
The difference between Sony games and EA/Ubisoft stuff that gets sent to Conan is that Sony actually puts an effort into crafting characters, their relationships, and its disheartening to see it get mocked or completely ignored as both Bill and Conan spend more time cracking jokes than actually paying attention to whats going on. I love Clueless gamer but he used to actually play these games and comment on what was happening, but here they are both just flat out ignoring what was happening on screen.
And thats ok. He needs to make the audience laugh. Thats his job. What's not ok is Sony taking something that 300 of their employees have put their heart and soul into making it a cut above other games in the medium when it comes to storytelling and character development and turn it into a joke.
That said, i dont work at SSM and I dont know if they found this funny or disheartening, but I am assuming they probably didnt care for it.
P.S Conan always makes fun of that guy droning on and on about the game's plot instead of just playing the game and yet this video spent two minutes just goofing around before they even brought him in. Kinda ironic. Conan needs to go back to just making this a series with him and his friend playing the game. They were more fun than having these celebrities come in and just pimp their own tv show.
