Requiring complaints/criticism to be done one on one with a moderator via private message versus in a public forum basically makes the complaint criticism go away/ineffectual.

They do have fast travel, but it's not useful until you're probably 95% through the game so it's really just for the post game playing because fuck God of War.

Reminds me of how in Twilight Princess you would get the item to call the horse from anywhere near the end of the game after you already acquired fast travel.

I'm pretty sure the fast travel that's actually useful instead of only being able to travel to ONE SPOT comes in the second to last or maybe even during the very last small section of the game. I think it really gets unlocked for all the map literally as you're walking to finish the story.
