It's always weird for me to realize how much fast food matters to the average person's life.
I mean on the one hand, yeah, your spending habits do have agency. I guess.
On the other hand, it's a damn chicken sandwich. And guess what? There aren't any real
allies in the fucking fast food industry unless that is literally the only issue you care about. Since last I checked, McDonalds, Wendys, Burger King, and pretty much every other chain, or a good chunk of their franchisee's, are out there fighting against unions, working wages, health accountability standards, and have swept discrimination issues under the rug systemically.
