I could never get into the other Metro games, nothing really wrong with them they just weren't what I was looking for, but Exodus looks amazing. So much STALKER. :lawd

Metro is like STALKER in that it's occasionally unplayable. It's not like STALKER in that it's playable the rest of the time.

"It’s been three years since we’ve seen anything from Square Enix regarding its episodic remake of Final Fantasy VII. The game was a no-show again at E3 this year, but it remains in development, according to Tetsuya Nomura, who has a hand in the title along with directing Kingdom Hearts III. “We are developing [Final Fantasy VII] in parallel, and it’s not just in the early concept stages,” he tells The Verge. “We are actually in development.”The longtime Square Enix developer says he’s been giving equal effort to both highly anticipated games. “So right now, it’s like I’ve been putting in 100 percent into Kingdom Hearts, 100 percent into Final Fantasy VII, 100 percent into Kingdom Hearts... just going back and forth,” he says. “It’s just like [working on] two titles is just going to be one [after Kingdom Hearts III’s launch]. That’s pretty much how I see it.”

Meanwhile Capcom putting up RE2make in like two and a half years, while also dropping Monster Hunter World and DMC5.

They're putting 100% into the PC version, 100% into the Xbox version, 100% into the PS4 version. There just wasn't enough 100%'s left for the Switch.

It's funny because I was standing there telling me co-workers about Nier as I saw some girls I had chatted up at a party the night before (about Nier, they were massive fans), and then I see someone walking by in an Emil T-shirt and I tapped them and said "Hey nice shirt!" and she turns to me and goes, "Thanks I voice 2B!", (her hair was different from the last time I saw her which is why I didn't auto recognize her) so I asked her for a selfie and gushed a whole bunch. And then she said "thanks for your service 9S!".

It seems too, that they're giving a small bit of fan service to Tenchu fans too..

Quote
Sekiro also has "light stealth mechanics." Instantly fatal stealth kills on enemies can help even the odds. You can press up against walls, hang off of ledges, and crouch in grass to stay hidden. If anyone wanders too close, you can finish them off Assassin's Creed style.

What's great about this is how it changes the approach to combat. Instead of facing most enemies head-on like you would in Dark Souls (or cheesing the hell out of them if you're a wimp like me), Sekiro's stealth and more open environments play to all sorts of strategies. In one encounter, the shinobi killed off an enemy sniper and then leapt onto a trailing guard, turning what should have been a five versus one fight into a much more approachable three on one.
https://www.pcgamer.com/embargoed-11am-pdt-sekiro-from-softwares-next-game-subverts-nearly-everything-weve-come-to-expect-from-dark-souls/

And these pics...  that Tenchu style grittiness is shining through in certain ways too...

E3 was a chore this year for me, but it was definitely different than last year. The floor and the overall experience was muted and had a dead energy around it. Really enjoyed Cyberpunk 77' demo, KH3, and Rage 2 the most out of the things I saw. Missed my opportunity to buy the Gild Design Death Stranding necklace at the PS gear store, they only had 40 of them... someone help me find one!

I'll post a longer recap of my experience when i get a chance to go over notes and finish compiling recordings/interviews.
