I was making $8 an hour during college. For some reason, the grocery store I worked at had a union, and union fees were $25 per paycheck. One week I only worked a single shift (4 hours) because finals. After taxes and everything, I only made $4 that week, or $1 per hour. Fuck unions.
One time, the company i worked for moved location and something in the air made me sick in the new office space. I moved away from the team to a different location on the same floor to see if it was better there. It was. So i told my boss that i wanted to move permanently and he said no, it was important that the team be seated together and if i couldn't deal with that i should probably quit.
So my local union rep talked to the central union, and they said "this isn't right, hold our beer"
The very next day the boss called me and the rep into a meeting and told me what an important asset to the team i was, and of course i could move permanently. The most important thing was, after all, my health.
people who work and aren't in the union are literally worse than antivaxxers
