Sorry duder, even if I was considering upgrading my pc, (and I'm not, the next time I buy anything it will be a mac) I wouldn't get that OS. Call me back when it's stable in 2 years, you shill.

this is the FUTURE. you can either play in the past with the poors and their wiis or join the MEN OF COMPUTING on the first real significant OS upgrade in the marketplace since windows 2000. (apple's clumsy freebsd gui experiment doesn't count -- does os x even have a viable browser yet?)

The problem with vista is the drivers for the hardware. The hardware companies have to make new drivers to have some things work with Vista properly. And its really fucking picky about HDD's for some of the features. I've been reading up on the Readyboost which is an awesome new feature for computers. I'm just waiting for flash drives to become internal. Using a flash drive in place of psychical ram is an awesome idea.

I wont be upgrading till i can afford a new pc either desktop or laptop.

I just installed the 32 Bit version and the Creative driver still gave me an unsigned error...but the device installed.

Vista with Sound. It felt like I was using Linux for a lil while there.

Creative was lame for most of the RC phase lol. If an award should go to a hardware manufacturer for driver support its ATi. Their drivers have not only worked, but have improved performance.

I posted it on GAF but heres my current desktop...I love Vista Gadgets!

The Taskbar is on the top (ala OSX) but its hidden away for maximum freedom effect. All I need is the App Launcher Gadget anyways.
