I'm a Remainer who voted Labour (though not usually a Labour supporter) so I'm bitterly disappointed about the result, but come the fuck on. No one's getting murdered. We'll weather five years of shit and then vote against them in 2024 when Tories start being Tories.
I'm now hoping that Labour pick a competent, likeable, electable leader, so I can vote for them without holding my nose, but who am I kidding? The party members will decide it's all Tony Blair's fault and they need to go lefter.
I thought, after people saw Hillary losing to Trump in 2016, that this kind of thing could never happen in the UK.
The Brexit vote was before Trump's election

Trump literally brought Nigel Farage on stage and said his election would be "Brexit +++".
