According to the NYT this video is now verified. It shows the moment Iran shot down a plane because they failed to warn commercial airlines of this attack.
At least Khamenei and friends can't bulldoze radar imagery and videos like they can bulldoze crash sites.

To think that Iran did this without warning civil aviation first.  :o

That being said, Iran has apparently now folded and accepted to hand over the black boxes to Boeing. I guess they realized they got found out.

Is that from this morning? Because last night they were inviting both ukrainian experts and boeing experts to take part in the investigation in Teheran. But they still wouldn't hand over the box to Boeing/the muricans (which seems reasonable all in all).

Nevermind, seems like it was incorrect.

Meanwhile, the so-called "black box" recovered from the wreckage will be opened on Friday, Iran's official Irna news agency reported.

Iran said it would download the information itself, adding that the process could take up to two months.

Let me guess, downloaded on the same server as the security camera footage of Epstein's cell block

Also, how the fuck would a download take 2 months.  Iran must be using the same cyber security service as Krugman :lol

They seem to be using the same protocols the dutch did:

- On Thursday, 17 July 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 departed from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol Gate G3

- By 18 July 2014, the flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder had been recovered by separatists,[125] and three days later were handed over to Malaysian officials

- On 9 September 2014, the preliminary report was released by the Dutch Safety Board (DSB)

- The Dutch Safety Board (DSB) issued its final report on the crash on 13 October 2015.

It's not a fucking DVD player. You don't just open it and press play.

They still make shit up though.

A military statement carried by state media said the plane was mistaken for a “hostile target” after it turned toward a “sensitive military center” of the Revolutionary Guard. The military was at its “highest level of readiness,” it said, amid the heightened tensions with the United States.

“In such a condition, because of human error and in a unintentional way, the flight was hit,” the statement said. It apologized for the disaster and said it would upgrade its systems to prevent such “mistakes” in the future.

It also said those responsible for the strike on the plane would be prosecuted.

They just got cheap ass Russian missile defense that can't tell the difference between a plane and a kite.
Iran should just blame the Russians for downing a jet 30 seconds after it took off :rollsafe

Also shows how much those cretins were bluffing when they told Trump not to retaliate.
To be fair they did censor something on Google maps in that area. Smart of governments to do, then you don't know anything vital is located there.  :lol
