I don't wear one when I cycle, but I have one in my pocket for when I go to get coffee etc.

I generally don't wear one outside unless I'm in a situation where I can't keep appropriate social distance, but that's only really festivals and packed markets which I have mostly been avoiding anyway.

covid is basically done where i am. you get a few people in masks in supermarkets which scales with the middle class poshness of the place (sainsburys will have maybe 40% while lidl will have fuck all) but that's about it. even the hilarious dance that people do when meeting someone coming the other way down a country path walking their dog has ceased.

Omicron more or less walks past vaccine-provided immunity. You can even catch Omicron twice, though I understand the 2nd time is asymptomatic.

Day 4 of sick in bed ww3 scrolling

Fever has slowly gone away, no longer have to spit every minute. Still so tired like a mod and throat hurts.
At this rate recovery to a point where I can use my big screens and work again will probably take about another 3 days.

Day 6, tonight was rough. Woke up with a sore throat again around 4 AM and was completely out of breath.
I usually go for Paracetemol but I still had a few 500mg Ibuprofens left over from when I had my root canal.
I figured that and lots of water was the best cure and went to sleep again after the worst coughing was over.

When I woke up again this morning I felt a lot of better and for the first time in weeks I've been out of bed for longer than an hour and I didn't feel tired all day.

Looks like I'm in the final stretch.
