Can't believe there are still people who think the vaccination is supposed to act like the shields on the Enterprise D. We have already seen for years that even if your flu vaccine doesn't protect exactly, it still lessens symptoms if you catch a variant. This new BA.5 shit walks past immunity frequently, but we still get lessened symptoms.

New BA4/BA5 booster vaccines are out. Can make appointments on walgreens/cvs. Walgreens has them starting Wednesday of next week.

Gotta wait a couple of weeks for mine cause some health meds I'm on, but booked my appointment for later in the month. Hopefully these make the halloween season a bit safer to go out and socialize.

Sorry man. I hear the fatigue can linger for a few weeks or few months depending on the person. It's not necessarily long covid, a lot of people just have fatigue for a while after.

Sorry to hear it. A close relative experienced fatigue, it went away after a few months.
Did you take ibuprofen while you had Covid? I did as a precaution while I had Covid, to prevent potential nerve/organ damage, and I had no more symptoms after I tested negative.

The 2nd shot and what I assume are 3 times COVID gave me like 5 new status effects including fatigue and Scarlet Rot. 
I'm on my third type of anti-biotics in 12 months.

My dad had COVID a month ago and then a week after he recovered a heart attack.

Paracetamol is the go-to drug here for all sorts of things, I believe it's called Tylenol overseas.

I had shortness of breath and a cough for about a month after. The "worst" symptom was the chills I had for a day immediately following it.

I tried to avoid taking anti-inflammatories while I had a milder fever, but when the fever went higher than 39°C, I started taking ibuprofen consistently. I didn’t stick with it though after my fevers got under control again.

Daily reporting by health departments has been scrapped. Masks on planes were scrapped a while ago and now mask mandates on public transport are being lifted from midnight tonight. I think hospitals and aged care facilities are the last remaining restrictions.

While there is a standing requirement to report a positive test and to self-isolate, I am sure almost all people are not even testing any more.

For all intents and purposes, the public pandemic response is over.

Today is day 10 and she appears to be mostly past it.Still some lingering symptoms.

She took it much better than the 2020 covid, but still had harsher symptoms than the average person. Lots of coughing, sore throat, and fever.
