The question is: Who has the bigger base?

I don't think Joe Biden or the Democratic party are up to the task to unite the different groups protesting under the same banner at this point.

or they don't think they're up to the task of keeping them safe and vote for Biden or don't vote at all. There's also the question of who to blame

Primary examples of civil unrest causing black people to have grievances heard, after the civil unrest Baltimore experienced five years ago, we had politicians and public figures coming out of the woodwork making statements in an attempt to be an ally for the black community, nothing of real significance happened nationally to answer/solve the grievances that the black community had. Fast forward to now, same exact thing is happening, we have George Floyd killed by police, civil unrest is widespread and we have politicians and public figures again making statements in an attempt to be an ally to the black community, the major question now is since the civil unrest is so widespread, will there be answers/solutions proposed and enacted with regards to the long-standing grievances of the black community?
