I understand how "fuck China" can be an expression of frustration from the poster but I am asking people to understand how people with Chinese heritage can feel unpleasant about that. They didn't have a choice on the Chinese government and that CCP and their actions are not an actual, complete representation of China and Chinese culture. CCP doesn't equal to China and vice versa. I mention "Fuck ___" as a response undermines the actual pain of Uighurs because that reduce their pain to a word and focused on CCP. "Fuck CCP" can be used as a response in a lot of Chinese government related situation. Grouping every thing into under "CCP is bad" is not doing any good to all those communities (e.g. Uighurs and Hong Kong). Their pains are real and legit, and they are not for people to leave a drive-by message to feel good about themselves.

How divorced from reality must you be to believe that a thread on your gaming message board is going to help anything. A “Fuck the CCP” post is exactly as helpful as any other post in that thread. Zero helpful.

Just let people drive-by post and feel good about themselves. That’s literally the entire reason your little nook of the internet exists in the first place.

The real question is how come Ree always knows all the worst YT'ers and everything about them? I often see Ree claming YT's algorithm forces alt right/nazi channels onto their recommended lists but that seems like total bullshit. I agree with the WSJ but I don't think it is just WFH.

Early on WFH worked great because everyone had their tasks and they could focus on them.
Now, when all that work is finished and new projects begin things are harder to manage and after months it is really apparent who is productive and knows what he/she's doing without depending on others for much of the work and who isn't.
Some of our people also realized that it is easier to switch jobs now, especially developers and people working two part time jobs have decided to focus on one.

With 3 people leaving for various reasons (new job, unable to keep up, focus on another job) that will also make some support type jobs redundant.
For me and my partners it likely means downsizing our company from 13 to about 8 or 6 people.

Yeah I'm fine with working from home, I've been actually in a position of just keeping 800+ users being able to work from home extremely busy,
 as all the changes on servers and update rollouts that we've had to do to combat peoples shitty home wifi etc, been a challenge but pretty rewarding I've learnt a ton which I always love.
I sure as hell am sore that I took a 20% pay cut and there have been people on furlough also getting 80% without having to do any work, but whatever I'm in a job so that's good enough for now.
My house purchase fell through due to this and also the wedding (next year) could be fucked but eh just got to keep planning for that and looking for other houses I guess...

I will say that we have had a lot of staff who have been absolutely so lazy that it's ridiculous, but when the first round of redundancies happened they all got made redundant....
It's a harsh reality at the moment that companies will not carry dead weight and if they can find enough reason to get rid of an employee they absolutely will, when in the past they may have been more lenient.
